“The spotlight is on the player, but the true heroes are the parents!”
Shrinika enrolled at KCA on February 13th, 2024, while we were celebrating our success at the School Nationals 2024. Her parents made the decision to enroll their 6-year-old daughter out of hope for her future in our classes.
As time went by, Shrinika began to show progress, which encouraged her parents to sign her up for additional classes during the week. A couple of months later, their lives changed with the arrival of a new blessing — Shrinika’s little brother.
It’s true that for a while, Shrinika was distracted, not enjoying classes, and struggling to focus. Although attending offline classes became challenging for her parents, they consistently made it a priority to participate in the Online Scholar classes.
There was a time when Shrinika lost interest in playing and began to face defeats. However, hats off to her parents for their unwavering support — they never gave up on her. They kept their hopes alive, and soon Shrinika achieved remarkable success, coming in 2nd place in the Kolkata District and earning a spot in the State Championship.
Just a month later, Shrinika made a fantastic comeback, participating with outstanding determination. She scored 7 points out of 8 rounds, securing 2nd place in the West Bengal State U7 championship. Now, she is set to compete at the Nationals!
